The Current State of Renewable Energy Development in the Opolskie Voivodship

Abstract
The share of electricity from renewable sources in the general consumption of electricity in the Opole province is more than 9%. In the Opole province a series of renewable sources of energy investments are planned, in particular the wind turbines construction. It will also be implemented different eco-energy investments, including the biogas plants, photovoltaic and water constructions. The article presents the current state of development of renewable energy sources in the region and their potential.
