The Jewish population in Wohyń in the interwar period

Abstract
This article describes functioning and activity of the Jewish community in Wohyń, a typical shtetl in the Lublin voievodship – during the interwar period. The first part of the article reveals the most important issues connected with history the of Jews in Wohyń and also demographic and ethnic matters of the whole population of the town. The article also contains information about demographic matters and socio-professional structure of the Jews in Wohyń. The last part deals with Jewish political parties and branch organizations.
