The overall aim of this article is to provide a better understanding of the Polish-Jewish relations, placing emphasis on the Polish attitudes towards the Jewish people. The studies are created on the basis of answers received by the specific group of respondents comprised of students. The total number of the engaged respondents in this quantitative analysis is 250. The research method used to gather information is a questionnaire which contains a total of 24 questions. The study provides data on the social cognition of Polish-Jewish relations and contributes to a better understanding of the development of respondents’ judgments and opinions about the Jews. This paper discuss a variety of research problems, interalia, historical, political, economic, and social issues with regard to the public perception of the Jewish people. The first main research problem is related to the identification of the source of opinion about the Jews. The second one concerns the characteristics on which one recognizes a Jew. The last research question is whether the respondents notice specific relations between the Jews and the Poles, and if the answer is positive, the respondents are to determine them. In order to present the research results in a graphic way, the reader is provided with graphic representations of the subject matter. Both bar charts and pie charts aim to depict how big the different parts of a total number of responses are, which are also proportional to the quantity of the rest of responses obtained through the survey.
