Abstract
The article discusses the book by Grzegorz Janusz Protection of the Rights of National Minorities in Europe, the author of many works on national minorities and a recognized expert in the field of their legislation. It notes that this book is a comprehensive study of the functioning of the European system of protection for all kinds of national minorities1. He also claims that the publication thoroughly analyzed, inter alia, the legal foundations of certain systems, mechanisms for controlling compliance with obligations, as well as individual bilateral agreements relating to this area of legislation. He emphasizes that the study has a problem-oriented structure, taking into account the chronological sequence of the appearance of individual legal acts, and consists of seven chapters, and that it is provided with a list of tables, maps and photos as well as a personal index. Then he goes over these parts of the book in detail.
