Abstract

Te goal of the paper is to present Standard of Program Management prepared by Program Management Institute. The paper is based on third version of standard, released in 2006. First chapters describe the meaning of notion “program” and place of program management in PMI standards. The other part of article is dedicated to description of standard. It is divided into three chapters (themes, life cycle and processes). This part is focused on practical approach and can be used to choosing whether to implement standard or not.
