Spaces of biblical inspiration in literature

Abstract

The article shows inspiration of biblical text in Polish literature. The author has focused attention on the presence of different spaces of Scripture in the literary work. Pointed out, on the basis of selected examples, the presence of figurative, styling, styling, theme, axiological and formal recalls. Also defined the meaning and function of them. Emphasized the value of Polish culture rooted in the words of Christian culture. With regard to the last poems of Czesław Milosz she asked the question about the consequences of contemporary absence (or presence minimized) the Bible in literary works.
