The research used the method of diagnostic survey, the questionnaire technique (WHOQOL-BREF – Short Version of the Quality of Life Assessment Survey; TSOS Battery Screening Test; COPE – Multidimensional Inventory for Measuring Coping with Stress). The methodological basis of own research as well as the results and conclusions of the research were presented. It was found that the higher the level of seeking instrumental and emotional support and a turn to religion, the higher the quality of life of the surveyed seniors. On the other hand, a higher level of concentration on emotions and their discharge causes a lower quality of life among older people with difficulty hearing.
