Implementing parents’ natural and constitutional right to raise their children through responsible home education.

Abstract
The article presents homeschooling as a form of fulfilling the compulsory education requirement and as a practical expression of the natural and constitutional right of parents to educate and raise their children in accordance with their own convictions. The author discusses the legal foundations of homeschooling in Poland, its scale, and the main motivations of parents who choose this form of education. Particular attention is paid to the possibility of individualizing the educational process, protecting the family’s system of values, developing children’s talents, reducing negative school-related experiences, and adapting education more effectively to the individual needs of the student. The article emphasizes the family as the primary educational and cultural environment and highlights the importance of family relationships in the transmission of knowledge, values, and patterns of behavior. The author refers to selected research on the outcomes of homeschooling as well as to international and Polish legal acts emphasizing the primacy of parents in the upbringing and education of their children. The final part presents the experience of the Holy Family College in Łomianki as an example of institutional support for families pursuing homeschooling. This model is based on the principle of subsidiarity, respect for family autonomy, and shared responsibility for the child’s development. Homeschooling is thus presented as an educational solution in which parental responsibility and school support can complement each other, contributing to the child’s integral development.
