Initially Security Service activities aimed at eliminating of people from the structures of the trade union, which were considered as the most radical. Among others activities Security Service in Piła led the case with the cryptonym „Tade Union” (pol. „Związek”). Security Service skilfully influenced the actions of leadership of the Solidarity Trade Union by using so-called „personal sources of information”.
