Abstrakt

The article describes Polish-German relations in Sępólno country before the onset the Second World War. In mid-September 1939 in Karolewo and Radzim near Więcbork Germans founded a death camps. They intended to gather and kill Poles and Jews, who were considerated enemies of the Third Reich. Administrations and guards were members of the Selbstschutz Westpreussen – the Self-defence of Polish Citizens of German Origin. In Karolewo were murdered at least 1781 people and in Radzim 113. At the and the author presented four biographies of victims: two teachers and two farmers.
