Author's name: Times New Roman 12 pt, left alignment
Institution: Times New Roman 12 pt, left alignment
Article title: Times New Roman 12 pt, bold, centred
If the article is divided into parts, they can be distinguished by means of intertitles according to the formula:

Page numbers should be placed at the bottom right of the page.
Titles cited in the text, foreign language, meta-linguistic and other terms should be italicised. Use inverted commas for journal titles and titles given by the author.
Short quotations should be placed in continuous text within inverted commas.
Longer quotations (more than 50 words) should be distinguished by moving them to a new line with indentation of 1.25 cm on both sides, using Times New Roman 10 pt font and single spacing at the top and bottom, without using inverted commas in this case. A footnote should indicate the source of the quotation.
Omissions in quoted texts should be indicated by square brackets with a three dot in the middle [...].
When spelling names, use the original spelling in the native language for the persons mentioned. In the case of well-known figures, write them according to the rules of the Polish language (e.g. Christopher Columbus).
When giving dates in the text, the name of the month should be written in words (e.g. 20 June 1980).
Footnotes:
Footnotes are mandatory and should be edited using Times New Roman 10 pt. font, and should be single spaced (spacing 1) and aligned on both sides.
The correct notation for footnote references in the text is: text, footnote number, punctuation mark (full stop, comma, semicolon, brackets). E.g. "Autobiography was not a popular genre in the early Middle Ages [footnote number], although autobiographical elements appeared with intensity in various works1".

Please do not insert extra spaces or blank lines between footnotes.
Do not use soft enter (Shift+enter).
When preparing footnotes, please provide the initials of the author's first name and surname first, and then follow the current guidelines for the above bibliographical descriptions with the pages at the end (e.g. R. Pipes, The Russian Revolution, translated by Szafar, Warsaw 1994, p. 137).
Use the terms: thesis, thesis, ibid.
For subsequent citations, the title should be given in an abbreviated form, preferably to the first noun, without an ellipsis at the end. Do not use the terms dz. cyt. or op. cit.
