The Promotion and Popularisation of the Evangelisation the Polish Jews in the Light of the Quarterly Two Worlds. Contribution to the History of the Barbican Mission to the Jews in the interwar Poland

Dominik Flisiak

Abstract

This article deals with the religious and social-political assumptions of the “Two Worlds” quarterly. It was a newspaper of members of the Barbican Mission to the Jews who were active in interwar Poland. Mission members were recruited from the faithful of the Anglican Church, of which a significant part were neophytes. The end of the Anglican activity in Poland occurred in 1939 with the outbreak of World War II and the Holocaust committed by the Germans.
