The paper characterized the capital client, present as one of the most important elements in the structure of intellectual capital, based on a careful analysis of the literature and previous experience with ongoing placements in enterprises of the Opolskie Voivodship in the positions of: self-specialist for marketing and development and specialist for customer relationship management. Presented will be also a part of the report based on the results of studies carried out on the client capital management, implemented in the first quarter of 2014 among small and medium-sized enterprises Opole province.
