Military aspects of Poland’s regaining of independence

Abstract

In the study the Author tackled the complex issue of military aspects of Poland’s regaining of independence, including various Polish military units existing during World War I and fighting on its many fronts. The aim of their existence was to establish an independent Polish state, which meant doing away with the results of three partitions that the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth had undergone in the late 18th century.
