Współczesny wymiar strategicznej rywalizacji militarnej

Abstrakt

Celem badań było wyjaśnienie i scharakteryzowanie strategicznej rywalizacji militarnej prowadzonej w szarej strefie. Do rozwiązania problemów badawczych zastosowano analizę i krytykę literatury, obserwację oraz studium przypadków. Ustalono, że strategiczną rywalizację militarną należy rozumieć jako aktywności obejmujące współpracę wojskową, zmagania poniżej konfliktu zbrojnego, odstraszanie strategiczne i prowadzenie wojny w celu kontestowania obowiązującego status quo i osiąganie dominacji strategicznej. Rywalizacja przybiera postać kontinuum i jest przenoszona do szarej strefy. Mogą być tam prowadzone konwencjonalne, niekonwencjonalne, nieregularne i hybrydowe działania militarne i nie przekraczając progu wojny, skutkować znaczną degradacją międzynarodowego środowiska bezpieczeństwa.
