The semi-annual journal “Facta Simonidis” has been published since 2008 by the Academy of Zamość (since 2021). It refers to the centuries-old scholarly accomplishments of the Zamoyski Academy, which was established in 1594 by Jan Zamoyski, as well as the contributions of Szymon Szymonowic—a humanist poet, author of Idylls, bibliophile, and organiser of the academic printing house.
The journal serves as a platform for the exchange of scientific research, fostering discussions and reviews within the fields of humanities and social sciences. It places particular emphasis on pedagogy, psychology, history, economics and finance, security studies, communication and media studies, political science and public administration, sociology, and international relations.
Articles, reviews, and other texts are published in Polish and English.
The electronic version of the journal is its primary version.

Dear Sir or Madam,
With reference to our previous announcement concerning Issue 2 (2026) of the journal “Facta Simonidis”, we would kindly like to clarify that the information about the forthcoming thematic issue devoted to social sciences was of a general nature.
The message was generated and distributed collectively to users registered on the journal’s platform. Its purpose was to inform you about the planned thematic issue and to encourage cooperation with the journal as an author, reviewer, or reader.
We sincerely appreciate the numerous and very positive responses we have received. At the same time, we would like to kindly explain that the announcement should not be understood as a personal or individual invitation to submit a paper for this particular issue. Rather, it was intended as an open call addressed to a broad community of scholars representing various disciplines within the field of social sciences.
We hope you will consider collaborating with our journal in the future.

Dear Sir or Madam,
As part of our ongoing process of internationalizing the journal, we have updated the guidelines for authors regarding manuscript preparation. The most significant changes concern the format of bibliographic references, which must now comply with The Chicago Manual of Style.
Another important change, intended to streamline the work of the Editorial Office, concerns the submission procedure. Articles should be submitted exclusively via the OJS platform.
Other changes, as well as examples of bibliographic formatting, are described in the Guidelines available under the “About” – “Submissions” tab.
Please note that until 30 April 2026, the Editorial Office will observe a transitional period for adapting manuscripts to the new guidelines.
