Changes in the Perspective of Biographical Experiences

Abstract
Social change typically occurs within the economic, social, and cultural spheres. Its outcomes shape social life and, by extension, individual biographies. The macro-level change that took place in Tarnobrzeg and the surrounding region allowed the narrator, the subject of this article, to construct a personal narrative characterized by a new lifestyle, distinct norms, values, roles, and life strategies. The workplace transformed into a space for acquiring new skills and competencies. Furthermore, the city of Tarnobrzeg provided the narrators with the opportunity to settle down and develop an active family and social life.
