The semi-annual journal “Facta Simonidis” has been published since 2008 by the Academy of Zamość (since 2021). It refers to the centuries-old scholarly accomplishments of the Zamoyski Academy, which was established in 1594 by Jan Zamoyski, as well as the contributions of Szymon Szymonowic—a humanist poet, author of Idylls, bibliophile, and organiser of the academic printing house.
The journal serves as a platform for the exchange of scientific research, fostering discussions and reviews within the fields of humanities and social sciences. It places particular emphasis on architecture and urban planning, philosophy, socio-economic geography and spatial management, history, linguistics, literary studies, as well as security studies, communication and media studies, cultural and religious studies, political science and public administration, art studies, management and quality sciences, legal studies, and pedagogy, psychology, and sociology.
Articles, reviews, and other texts are published in Polish and in the congress languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Italian).
