The semi-annual journal “Facta Simonidis” has been published since 2008 by the Academy of Zamość (since 2021). It refers to the centuries-old scholarly accomplishments of the Zamoyski Academy, which was established in 1594 by Jan Zamoyski, as well as the contributions of Szymon Szymonowic—a humanist poet, author of Idylls, bibliophile, and organiser of the academic printing house.
The journal serves as a platform for the exchange of scientific research, fostering discussions and reviews within the fields of humanities and social sciences. It places particular emphasis on history, art studies, cultural and religious studies, philosophy, literary studies, linguistics, security studies, social communication and media studies, as well as political and administrative sciences, and sociological sciences.
Articles, reviews, and other texts are published in Polish, English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and Russian.
