Greek Catholic eparchy (archi) Prešov in Slovakia in the context of the 2018 jubilee year

Abstract
In the history of the Pre-Roman Catholic eparchate (archi) in Slovakia, we see important milestones that in many dimensions determined its existence, creating conditions for its future. Such a milestone is also 2018, announced in the Prešov archdiarchy as the Jubilee Year on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of its canonical emulation. Its duration is the same as the calendar year, i.e. it began on January 1, 2018, and ended on December 31, 2018. This jubilee year was celebrated several important anniversaries in the Greek Catholic history of the Prešov Archieparchy and the Greek Catholic Church sui iuris on Slovakia in the meaning of the jubilee logo of 2018.
