Baptism of blood in the Polish experience

Abstract
The anniversary of Poland’s baptism reminds also about baptism of blood, which is the consequence of baptism of water. It is confirmed by the Saviour’s sacrifice and without it we can’t understand the martyrdom of the Polish nation. The Poles courageously bore witness of blood belonging to the Saviour’s paschal mystery. When faced with various threats, blood and water coming out from Christ’s side as symbols of baptism of water and blood are still valid.
