Abstract

Zamość region covers territorially the area of Zamość region from 1975-1998. Despite the administrative and political changes villages lying on that area are still related in the political, cultural, economic and educational way with Zamość. Zamość area includes the following parts: Sandomierz Valley, Roztocze, Highlands of Western Volhynia, Pobuże and Lublin Upland. These areas are in physiographic sense very diverse. There is a variety of plant cover, soil and climatic conditions and these features make this region’s environment attractive for tourists.
