Studies of the Demand for Knowledge-Based Services in Enterprises of the Opolskie Voivodship

Abstract

The article presents and discusses the results of the survey conducted by the computer assisted telephone interview system, that was the part of the expertise devoted to establishment and functioning of the Competence Center (CK) at Opole University of Technology. The experience gained from active cooperation with enterprises of the region, indicates the problem of insufficient matching of the offer prepared by the research sector units to the needs of the regional economy. The aim of the article is to discuss selected issues of research, the results of which are an important source of knowledge for the process of creating an effective cooperation in the area of knowledge transfer between science-business. This represents the enterprises ability to compete in modern economic space, using the know-how available in the business environment.
