The study examined using a conference workshop setting to engage Economics teachers and students-teachers in continuous professional growth and development in Nigeria. The study was conducted in Federal University Kashere, Gombe State, during the 2nd 2021 Economics Educators Association of Nigeria (EEAN) conference workshop. A descriptive survey research design was used in the study. Forty-five Economics Teachers who enrolled and showed up for the 2021 EEAN conference workshop made up the study’s sample. The researchers created a 20-item questionnaire that was utilized to gather data. The t-test statistic was used to evaluate hypotheses at the 0.05 level of significance, while the mean and standard deviation were utilized to address the study issues. According to the study, attending conference workshops is advantageous for economics instructors and teachers who are also students. It gave them access to cutting-edge techniques and methods as well as chances and circumstances to hone their unique capacities as educators. These included the development of higher order cognitive skills like critical and analytical thinking, synthesis, and evaluation, all of which support the ongoing professional development of Economics instructors and student teachers. The Economics Educators Association of Nigeria should have regular conference workshops to improve the capacity of Economics teachers and student-teachers, among other recommendations made by the study based on its findings.
