The Importance of Holiness of Polish Martyrs for the Work of Educating Human

Abstract
In pedagogy, it is important that the educator shows the young person a certain, possibly perfect system of values that will allow him to develop spiritually and physically. The model of life based on the values proclaimed by the Church are the saints, and especially the martyrs, who, by giving their lives for faith in God, have reached the heights of humanity.
In the process of education, special importance is attached to the formation of conscience. In conscience, an extraordinary dialogue between God and man takes place. God calls man to do good and avoid evil.
The example of the Polish martyrs shows that strength is perfected in weakness. Although Poland was not on the map of Europe for a long time, Poles did not look to the future through the eyes of politicians and military forces, but enriched their spirituality, developing their culture and deepening their religious life.
The importance of the homeland's history, especially from the period of the partitions and occupation, enriched with the testimony of martyrs, is a challenge for the next generations. Educators who see the sense in showing religious and humanistic values leading to mature humanity have an important role to play.
