The letters of Albrecht Dürer, one of the greatest artists of the German Renaissance, serve not only as a historical and artistic testimony but also as an inspiring source of pedagogical, spiritual, and philosophical reflection. This article analyzes selected letters by Dürer, revealing how they articulate educational ideas, values, and personality development within the humanistic and religious context. The aim of the article is to find indications that A. Dürer’s letters contain content that may serve as a basis for contemporary reflections on master-student relationships, artistic education, spiritual development, the importance of work and self-improvement in the educational process, as well as the existential meaning of being a teacher and a student.
