Andrzej Maryniarczyk SDB, the Representative of the Lublin Philosophical School
Abstract
Prof. Andrzej Maryniarczyk SDB, who died at the end of 2020, was best known as a realistic metaphysician and antropologist - a representative of the Lublin philosophical school. In his life, he also devoted a lot of attention to broadly understood educational activity, as well as to various forms of disseminating works in the field of philosophy, implementing his religious vocation in the Society of Saint Francis de Sales. In this publication, an attempt was made to present the activities of Andrzej Maryniarczyk SDB on the main fields of it and in context of its effects. The justification for taking up this subject is the lack of an exhaustive study, while the life of Andrzej Maryniarczyk, SDB seems to deserve to be disseminated both because he could be considered as a role model and because of the content of the works he left. I used the methods of text analysis and historicism in the study.
