Parental Education of a Child in the Concept of Jan Amos Komeński

Abstract

Jan Amos Comenius, an outstanding Czech pedagogue (also a philosopher, theologian) in his work, devoted special attention to the Christian-humanistic way of life. The philosophical motto of Comenius' pedagogy was "teaching everyone to the end, taking into account the whole, because this is an indispensable condition for improving the world." As one of the first educators, he adjusted the methodological scope and selection of content to the stages of the student's psychophysical development. Traveling and looking for effective solutions in teaching and learning. In Poland, which he considered his second homeland and where he stayed after forced emigration from the Czech Republic, he created the largest number of literary works. He has developed many textbooks, including those devoted to pedagogical and didactic issues. He is considered one of the precursors of preschool pedagogy, andragogy and special pedagogy
