Portraying the Studied Autobiographical Narratives: Scientific Rigor or Artistic Expression?

Considerations in the context of Fritz Schütze's narrative interview method

Abstract

The aim of this article is to present many possibilities of understanding the concept of autobiographical narration. The text presents the perspective of perceiving autobiographical statements as a construct and (re)construct. The author also focused on characterizing the selected course of analytical and interpretative proceedings of autobiographical materials. The author presents it in the context of F. Schütze's concept, which seems to be convenient in the context of the need or willingness to conduct structured interpretative activity.
