In the life of every nation, the importance of education, upbringing, and education is invaluable. This is particularly true for the history of the Polish nation, and it should be noted here that during the difficult historical periods of the Polish state's existence, during the partitions (123 years of slavery), during World War II, under the totalitarian communist regime of the People's Republic of Poland, and also in free Poland, a good teacher and good education are the strength of a nation. It was thanks to the noble attitude of exceptional teachers (often risking their lives or social degradation) that it was possible to shape moral responsibility among students, preserve national identity, and preserve historical memory. This historical commitment to teaching and educating the young generation is in line with the tradition of the 1st Jan Zamoyski High School in Zamość. The school was founded on the educational concept of the founder of the Zamość Academy and is housed within the walls of a former academy. This is not just a historical commitment, but a decades-long tradition (in 2016, the school celebrated its 100th anniversary) of providing high-quality education and upbringing. The history of this school's teaching and educational work is marked by a unique figure: a Polish teacher and passionate about education through art and theater. Julia Rodzik, a warm-hearted, calm, patient person with extensive historical knowledge, was always there for her students. "Per aspera ad astra," striving for goals, overcoming difficulties, and achieving great things, but with respect for others, faith in God, and integrity in conduct, can be the motto of one's professional work and a life of service to others.
