The aim of the study is an attempt to show the educational dimension of the unique biography of the world-renowned composer and pianist Professor Andrew Nikodemowicz. The following publication reveals the remarkable biography of the man, who spentmost of his life in hishomeland in Lviv. Since 1980 he has been associated with Lublin, i.a. as a lecturer at both John Paul Catholic University of Lublin and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. Describing the Polish-Ukrainian-Armenian roots origin of family, the fate of their parents and brothers as well as himself, the publication reveals how historical contexts and dramatic life events, which one had to face, influenced his fate. Discussing the Lviv and Lublin period, I have indirectly answered the question of how the son of the famous architect, would-be chemist A. Nikodemowicz, Acting for many years, free of charge, as an organist at the parish church. St. Mary Magdalene in Lviv, he has become world-renowned pianist, composer at the same time heearned well-deserved recognition not only among the Association of Polish Composersbut also of the Holy See and the authorities of the city of Lublin, where he was awarded with the title of Honorary Citizen. The publication reveals phenomenon of the man extremely sensitive to beauty, truth and goodness and at the same timemodest, the witness of a living faith and moral authority.
