Irena Sendlerowa – the Pedagogue of the Act
Abstract
Irena Sendler is a character, a "symbol" of fidelity to Man - Homeland - God in times of war terror. The truth about her life requires permanent reading and interpretation. The first aim of the article is not only to show the works of her life that are known and appreciated, but especially those dimensions (spiritual and religious) that are not noticed, because only after her death in private notes recorded and stored in a private home archive. The second goal is to try to think how human acts (by Irena Sendler) can constitute an imperative to scientifically look at the need to create a "pedagogy of action", starting from deeds bearing historic signs to a scientific model (project) from the area of pedagogy educating to noble deeds.
