Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the biography of Joanna Pąk, a contemporary poet suffering from CP (cerebral palsy) since birth. Thanks to the support of her family as well as her strong will and determination, she graduated not only from primary school, but also from high school and university. She writes with her right foot, has published 13 volumes of poetry, co-creates the Facebook page "Break stereotypes - about alternately abled" and runs her own page on Facebook. Her attitude can inspire everyone, not only disabled people. To present the profile of Joanna Pąk, references were made to her poetry, social media presence and other materials related to her activity in public sphere, which constitute the implementation of the concept of creative life orientations and a crip  contestation of stereotypes about disability.
