The aim of this study is to present the biographical and pedagogical potential inherent in the concept of the imitation of Mary as proposed by Stanisław Celestyn Napiórkowski, a Franciscan theologian. His theological reflection portrays the person of the Mother of Jesus through the lens of faith, hope, and love. The central hypothesis assumes that the categories of participatio (participation) and receptio (reception), present in his interpretation of salvation history, have a formative dimension and can inspire both personalist pedagogy and biographical studies. The study highlights an identity-based and initiatory approach to the figure of Mary, indicating the possibility of using her biblical biography as a formative model. The work aligns with the trends of contextual and interdisciplinary theology and emphasizes the need for a deeper reflection on the category of imitatio Mariae — both theologically and pedagogically.
